Juliette Armand’s Opsis Eye Treatments
Opsis in Greek means “Sight” and when it comes to skincare, the eye area is one of the first areas to show the signs of aging. Although, I have found that it appears to be one of the last products bought for the beauty regime?
SkinBoosters Opsis have two of the most anti-aging eye and gel products in their Paramedical range, designed to soften even the deepest of lines and wrinkles around the eye area.
They come in a funky orange and white packaging and when you take the product out of the box, it is the most unique, state of the art design of product packaging, I think I have ever seen in skincare ranges. It takes on a similar look of a syringe. At the end of the “syringe” is a practical twist, locking system, which ensures you never spill any product when travelling. No more finding spilled product at the bottom of your travel case ladies. Woo hoo!! I was SO impressed! With a quick small pump of the end of the “syringe” and you have just enough eye cream or gel pumped out of the top, to allow one application of the product. With a quick pop on the lid, lock the bottom and voila, you are hydrated and
ready for the day!
So why is an eye product so under rated?
In my many years in the beauty industry, when I am educating people in skincare, I find people have a preconceived idea that they only need to use a good moisturiser, which will cover the face and around the eye area. Or there are other individuals who think that a face serum is sufficient in the use of an eye hydrator. The eye products are extremely unvalued.
I am here to tell you this is completely wrong and can do more damage than good. The delicate skin around our eyes deserves special attention. To start with, the ingredients of a serum and moisturiser, are designed to work in hydrating your face, and in a lot of cases will be far too heavy for the thinner skin around the eye area!
Which is best product for my eye area – Opsis Eye Cream or Opsis Eye Gel
Eye creams and gels are dedicated products formulated to address the specific
needs of the eye area. However, with the myriad of options available, it’s
essential to understand the differences between eye cream and eye gel, so you
can make the right decision for you.
SkinBoosters Opsis Eye Cream: This eye cream has a rich and creamy
consistency, which makes them ideal for nourishing and hydrating the delicate
skin around the eyes. Here are some key features of eye creams:
Moisturisation and Nourishment: Formulated with emollients and moisturizing
ingredients, such as Vitamin E, Albatin and A-Bisabolol. These ingredients help
to hydrate the skin and prevent moisture loss, keeping the eye area plump and
supple.
Anti-Aging Benefits: Pumped with powerful ingredients Arginine to boost
collagen production in the skin. Keeping skin firm from within, Matrixyl 3000
improves overall elasticity, firmness, and texture. and the ultimate “wow factor”
Cosmetic Drone technology, which allows ingredients to go into the right cells
for repairing, in fact, the actual area of the particular cell. This targets deeper
lines and wrinkles and works on the appearance of crow’s feet and firm the skin
around the eyes.
Rich Texture: The thicker consistency of the eye cream makes it perfect for drier
skin types, or for those who prefer a more intensive moisturizing experience. The
creamy texture allows for easy application and absorption into the skin.
Ideal for: Individuals age group 40 + with dry or mature skin, those concerned
with signs of aging, and those seeking deep hydration and nourishment for the
delicate eye area.
SkinBoosters Opsis Eye Gel: This Eye gel is light, yet on application you can
feel a slight tingling sensation, so you know it is really doing intensive work.
Cooling and Soothing: Eye gels often have a gel-like or serum-like consistency
that provides a cooling sensation upon application. They can help reduce
puffiness, soothe tired eyes, and provide a refreshing feel.
Multisal Salcool, has 3 different sub-micron spheres to facilitate enhanced
delivery of the functional ingredients to the sensory nerve endings in the
epidermal layer.
Aldavine has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe and calm the
skin around the eyes, reducing redness and irritation.
Hydration and Skin Renewal: Eye gels are typically water-based and contain
hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. These ingredients help
to moisturize the skin around the eyes without feeling heavy or greasy.
Anti-Puffiness and Dark Circles: Some eye gels are formulated with ingredients
like caffeine or green tea extract, which can help reduce puffiness and diminish
the appearance of dark circles. They work by constricting blood vessels and
promoting circulation.
A-Bisabolol have brightening properties, which can help reduce the appearance
of dark circles or discolouration around the eye area.
Horse Chestnut Extract is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory.
Eyeseryl is specifically formulated to target fluid accumulation around the eyes,
which can lead to puffiness or bags. The peptide works by promoting lymphatic
drainage and reducing the retention of excess fluids, resulting in a smoother and
less swollen appearance.
Ideal for: Individuals with oily or combination skin, those prone to puffiness or
dark circles, and those who prefer a lightweight and non-greasy texture.
Remember, consistency is key when it comes to results in skincare, so whichever
product you choose, make sure to incorporate it into your daily routine and enjoy
the benefits of a well-cared-for eye area.
